Even though Fleetmark is seen as the new kid on the block in this area, the company has quickly expanded its reach within the tipper tarp market. It boasts well over 100 years of collective industry experience within this sector with the acquisition of Queensland-based Eagle Canvas just over five years ago. Since then Fleetmark has been quietly working behind the scenes, developing and testing its own designed and tested FM brand of electric motors, controllers and manufactured components and tarps.

After many years of hard work, Fleetmark can now offer the Australian market a tipper tarp solution to suit varying conditions and applications, that can be serviced along the east coast through its own company facilities, DeFazio says. The company manufactures a full range of sliding and roll over tipper tarps. Available in mesh and PVC, the tipper tarps are supplied in kit form or can be installed by one of Fleetmark’s trained technicians. All hardware is made to the highest quality (stainless steel) and to exact specifications ensuring maximum life and performance.

With the help of its supplier partners – UK-based Lodar Controllers and Australian-based Whitelaw Hydraulics – Fleetmark has been constantly testing, developing and improving its product line. “Both Lodar and Whitelaw have been offering in-field local support that has helped us minimise operational issues and promptly address any concerns that might have occurred during the testing phase to now offer the market a quality product,” DeFazio explains.

Fleetmark also manufactures a range of transport tarpaulins including flat deck tarps and purpose-built tarps. Available in a variety of colours, the tarpaulins can be manufactured to required specifications.
