New Nelson Rigg Hurricane Dual Sport Saddlebags

Nelson Rigg has just launched a new set of waterproof luggage, the Hurricane Dual Sport saddebags. A pretty familiar style; the kidney-shaped design has been common for several years now, from multiple manufacturers including Nelson Rigg themselves. It's a proven idea that works.

The new bags have combined capacity of 28 liters (14 per side), and riders can add another 5 liters of storage per bag by adding RiggPaks, for 38 liters total. They’re soft luggage, and don't require a rack for mounting, but Nelson Rigg says the liner can be used to keep the bags stiff and shaped while empty, or they can be flattened against the bike for woods riding. Nelson Rigg continues to expand their Rigg Gear brand of 100% waterproof dry bags with the new Hurricane Dual Sport Saddlebags. These "rackless" soft throw-over style panniers offer dry storage, high quality materials and workmanship all at an affordable price.

Made from 100% waterproof heavy-duty UV-treated PVC tarpaulin material of which every seam has been electronically heat welded, its waterproof nature is guaranteed. The roll top closures with quick release buckles assure the contents will stay dry and dust free even in the most extreme weather conditions. The saddlebags can hold their shape when empty due to the removeable internal stiffeners or can be compressed completely against the side of the motorcycle. Designed with a maximum capacity of 28 liters the compression strap holds your gear tight. These saddlebags can mount to most Dual Sport, Enduro, Sport and Adventure motorcycles.

Features on the exterior of these saddlebags include carry handles, air purge valves, replaceable back pads and top and bottom two-way adjustable straps for the attachment of additional cargo. These straps can be used in conjunction with our SE-4005 RiggPak which will allow the addition of 5 Liters of storage per bag when maximum storage is needed.
